Normally a beer this big and flavorful is aged in bourbon barrels but this one is not, which means the vanilla, cocoa, and coffee come through 100%. 4Beans has the strongest, freshest, and best coffee flavor of any beer I've tried. It is thick and creamy (from the Romano beans if what I've read about Romano beans and brewing is accurate). Incredible coffee flavor hits you immediately, followed by rich cocoa and a hint of vanilla, and then about 30 seconds after swallowing a creamy vanilla aftertaste kicks in making you reach for another sip.
