KLEIN CONSTANTIA ESTATE RED BLEND

93 Points - James Suckling!  A full, rich Bordeaux blend with loads of blackberry, currant, chocolate and walnut character. Some mint, too. Round and polished tannins. Loads of fruit at the finish. Yet, it turns slightly reserved and poised. Blend of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 39% malbec and 3% petit verdot. This will age beautifully. Give it at least three to four years to come around.  Winemakers notes - Deep ruby red in appearance. Intense aromas of black and red fruit burst on the nose followed by a delicate wood spice. The rich and complex palate is balanced with bold tannins and an elegant backbone. The wine concludes with a long velvety finish.
