The Wines!!
Lima Granite Vinho Verde $10.99
Part of a special project from the Adega Ponte de Lima, this Vinho Verde is made from 100% Loureiro grapes from the Lima River Valley.  The grapes for this version of their wine come only from their granite soil grapes.  The granite offers a freshness in the mouth and intense floral aromas and it displays an accentuated minerality, in both aroma and flavor.  For an interesting comparison, also try the Vinho Verde Schist.  Side by side, these two wines, produced by the same winery, winemaker, and vinification process, are a fun demonstration of differences in a wine when only the soil is different.

Lima Schist Vinho Verde $10.99
Part of a special project from the Adega Ponte de Lima, this Vinho Verde is made from 100% Loureiro grapes from the Lima River Valley.  The grapes for this version of their wine come only from their schist soil grapes.  The schist offers a light but complex aroma of orange blossom and mango.  It is full bodied, full flavored, persistent and engaging.  For an interesting comparison, also try the Vinho Verde Granite.  Side by side, these two wines, produced by the same winery, winemaker, and vinification process, are a fun demonstration of differences in a wine when only the soil is different.

Domaine Manior du Carra Beaujolais Villages, Non Filtre $13.99
Beaujolais Nouveau is a cherry-red, fruity, tasty, clean wine that is best served chilled. It is meant to be consumed young, within 5-7 months. Nouveau is made with carbonic maceration, or whole-berry fermentation. This technique preserves the fresh, fruity quality of the grapes without extracting bitter tannins from the grape skins.  Beaujolais-Nouveau has been very popular with almost every Thanksgiving dish - from turkey to ham, green beans to mashed potatoes, and gravy to cranberry sauce.

Xavier Vignon, Chateauneuf-du-pape $69.99
94 Points Wine Advocate!
"The second year Vignon has produced this cuvée, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape XV is a plush but restrained blend that incorporates more Mourvèdre and less Syrah, with the Grenache and Mourvèdre co-fermented when possible.
It shows a bit of toasty oak up front but balances that with ample black cherry fruit and soft, dusty tannins.
Long and harmonious on the finish, it should drink well on release in 2019 and for a decade or more after that."

La Spinona Sori Gepin Barolo $79.99
94 Points Wine Enthusiast!
"Underbrush, violet and new leather aromas come to the forefront on this fragrant red.
The bright, linear, elegantly structured palate offers pomegranate,
cranberry and star anise framed in taut, fine-grained tannins. It has an almost salty finish."
