The Beers!!
Eggenberger Helle Weizen, 4 pack 16 oz. $10.99
ABV: 5.0%
Inspired by the delicate wheat beers of Bavaria, Eggenberg’s newest release is a full-bodied and open-fermented Hefeweizen brewed with both sunny days and snowy nights (on the slopes) in mind. Waves of banana and clove coat the palate as you’d expect any traditional Bavarian wheat beer to, but the hint of bubble gum that lingers behind is the first sign that just one sip of this beer won’t be enough.

Spencer Trappist Ale 4 pack. 12 oz. $16.99
6.5% ABV
This recipe was inspired by the traditional refectory ales known as patersbier (“fathers’ beer” in Flemish) in Belgium. These sessionable beers are brewed by the monks for their dinner table and are typically only available at the monastery. Spencer is a full-bodied, golden-hued ale with fruity accents, a dry finish and light hop bitterness. The beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized, preserving live yeast that naturally carbonates the beer in the bottle and keg and contributes to the beer flavor and aroma.

Commonwealth Marvolo Imperial Chocolate Stout 4 pack 16 oz $19.99
8.7% ABV
Pouring pitch black with a fine, tan head, Marvolo has a smooth body with fine carbonation. Flavors of sorghum molasses and cocoa combine to give this stout it’s namesake chocolatey-ness. There’s just enough bitterness from the black malt to keep this otherwise sweet beer from being cloying. Sip this at the very end of the day when the air begins to cool, but be careful — it’s so smooth that you might overdo it!  This strong and sweet stout makes a wonderful dessert.

The Wines!!
Steindorfer Pinot Gris, Fuchsloch $18.99
Very fruity nose of ripe pears, banana and aromatic pineapple.
On the palate is has a good structure and balance with fragrant notes in the finish
– a delicate wine with great power and a wonderful future.

Strauss Sauvignon Blanc Gamlitzberg $19.99
A classic style with full ripe citrus fruit, lemon drop, anddelicate herbal notes,
which are followed by a clean crisp finish.
Perfect warmweather aperitif.
Pairs well with chicken, mild cheeses, sautéed seafood andwhite sauces.

Steininger Zweigelt $16.99
Vanilla and cinnamon play around blueberry and cherry notes on the nose.
The medium palate makes most of that oaky spice,
giving another boost to the cinnamon aroma and that vanilla smoothness.
The finish is dry and fresh.

Jalits Eisenberg Blaufrankisch, DAC $19.99
Inviting aromas of raspberries, cherries, and blackberries.
Good fruit on the palate and juicy with some herbs and spices.
Classic Eisenberg mineral notes, elegant body, and a clean finish. Good length.
Think summer fares like grilled burgers, grilled vegetables, and charcuterie.

Hillinger Hill 1 $49.99
50% Merlot, 25% Blaufränkisch, 25% Zweigelt
The first top wine that left the Leo HILLINGER winery was named HILL1. The blend of Merlot, Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt is garnet red with a brick-colored rim in the glass. A variety of aromas speaks from the nose: dark fruits, black currants, cherries and blueberries, surrounded by a delicate balsamic and black tea tone, which gives the wine an earthy scent. These earthy aromas continue on the palate, where the wine is dry, with a pleasantly supportive acidity and full-bodied tannins. Tea and balsamic aromas as well as the fruit tones of currant are also evident in the taste.
The long finish keeps perfect balance.
