Hardywood Gingerbread Stout, described by BeerAdvocate as “freagin’ Christmas in a bottle,” is an imperial milk stout brewed with vanilla beans, cinnamon, fresh Casselmonte Farm baby ginger and Bearer Farms wildflower honey. Gingerbread Stout is then matured in Virginia bourbon barrels, where it adapts an incredibly mellow character with oak, caramel and bourbon undertones, and emerges 12 weeks later as Bourbon GBS. A festive blend of spice character laces this rich, chocolatey stout, which warms the palate and the soul.

NOTES FROM THE WINEMAKER
A delicate pale gold. On the nose, aromas of lemon, fresh pineapple with hints of lavender. It is a bright well balanced wine with a clean minerality and touch of lime on the finish.

Winemaker's notes - Chehalem's 100% stainless steel fermented and aged Chardonnay, is a perfect example of the range of this varietal. The 2020 offering is rich and bright, with initial stone fruit aromatics jumping out of the glass. They give way to notes of lemon curd, dried mango, and honey. The mouthwatering palate is weighted by a slight viscosity that creates an alluring texture on the finish that begs for another sip.

The Block Nine Pinot is beautifully long and rich in ripe cherry and berry flavors. The aromas exhibit generous bright fruit with a mix of strawberry, violets, plum, tea, and a hint of clove. Flavorful and silky in the mouth with good body, this wine is seductive showing wild cherries and a hint of sandalwood to complete its complex finish.
Block Nine Cabernet Sauvignon $16.99
The 2020 Block Nine Cabernet Sauvignon exhibit aromas that gush of warm plum and blackberry fruit flavors. This wine is well built up front with flavors of black currant fruit, cassis and hints of sweet spice. It shows good energy as licorice and apple wood accents complete its complex finish. The 2020 growing season was generous is length and consistent temperatures. Flavors were strong at harvest and we think 2020 will prove to be a terrific vintage.
