This is one of the best Pinot Noirs we have tasted in the last few years.

With only 536 cases produced this is Cheryl’s and Sam’s pet project and boy are we thankful.  
You may recall that after painstakingly analyzing the Willamette region David Lett, the first to plant in the valley, chose Dundee Hills as his vineyard site. What was true back in 1966 is true today, the Dundee Hills AVA is the most densely planted of all in the Willamette Valley because it’s the perfect growing environment!

“The 2015 Pinot Noir The Hermit is medium to deep ruby-purple in color with lovely herbal accents over a core of bramble berry, crushed blackcurrant and warm black cherries with layers of violet perfume and warm earth. Medium to full-bodied, it’s packed with ripe, lush fruit in the mouth, with firm, grainy tannins and very juicy, mouthwatering acidity, finishing long with blue fruit and perfume. This is hedonistic and delicious.”
